The Fiber Festival of New England Returns to Eastern States Exposition, Nov. 1 & 2

The first weekend of November brings the return of the fiber event with the highest anticipation—and highest thread count—back to Eastern States Exposition (ESE). The New England Sheep and Wool Growers Association and ESE unite to host The Fiber Festival of New England at the Mallary Complex in West Springfield, Mass., on Saturday, November 1, from 9am-5pm, and Sunday, November 2, from 9am-3pm.

This immersive event welcomes attendees into a world of wool and other fiber products. Craft demonstrations and live animal displays line the aisles of the complex, ensuring that there is plenty to see. Watch sheep shearing demonstrations, take an inside look at the production process, access limitless thread counts and browse a vast array of high-quality, cozy items for purchase.

The Fiber Festival arrives at ESE just in time for the holiday season and presents the perfect opportunity to treat friends, family or oneself to unique, handmade items. More than 150 vendors will showcase their products, including clothing, quilts, blankets, rugs, looms, spinning wheels and more!

Nearly 20 varieties of workshops allow attendees to try their hand at felting, spinning, punch needling, crocheting and rug hooking. Register today at EasternStatesExposition.com!

Make a day of it; the ESE Farmers Market and Wine Café, Storrowton Village Museum and Storrowton Tavern will also be open during the event on both days. The ESE Farmers Market and Wine Café offers award-winning wines, produce, cheeses and products sourced from the best of New England. Shopping is available from 10am-5pm and the Wine Café serves from 11am-5pm.

Storrowton Village beckons attendees with a scenic stroll through the 19th century buildings that line the green. Visit their website to book a tour ahead of time! On Saturday, Storrowton Tavern offers lunch from 11am-3pm and dinner from 4pm-9:30pm. On Sunday, brunch is from 11am-2pm and dinner is from 4-8pm.

With a plethora of educational opportunities, shopping options and entertainment, The Fiber Festival of New England is the perfect way to spend your weekend. Visit EasternStatesExposition.com to learn more and purchase your tickets today! Fiber Festival admission is $9 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
