The Exposition’s activity fuels local businesses, drives regional tourism and generates significant tax revenue that supports infrastructure, schools and essential public services throughout the region.
The Big E is the cornerstone of ESE’s impact and generates 87% of the Exposition’s total revenue. The Eastern States Exposition is a nonprofit operating without state or federal funding. ESE relies on strong partnerships to sustain its programming, facilities, and mission-based initiatives. Strengthening the Eastern States Exposition Foundation through capital investment and philanthropic support is essential to ensuring continued ESE resilience.
