Friends of the Fiber Festival of New England:
After careful consideration, we regretfully announce that The Fiber Festival of New England has been cancelled for 2020. This would have been our 10th annual event, and it was a difficult decision to make.
COVID-19 restrictions do not allow for an event of the size, scope and passion that our Fiber Festival brings to the Mallary Complex every year. Fiber friends old and new gather, look, touch, pet, teach, help and share to an extent that does not fit current local, state and national regulations. From one end of the Complex to the other, in 150+ booths and every workshop classroom, from the shearing demonstrations to the Fleece Sale and the Food Court . . . we come together and immerse ourselves. The Fiber Festival of New England under those guidelines would not have been recognizable to our guests, vendors, instructors, volunteers or staff.
We will be back and better than ever -- Mark the calendar for November 6 and 7, 2021!
In the meantime, please support our wonderful vendors online, through social media or in any way possible. Above all, stay healthy and keep creating those artisan fiber works that make The Fiber Festival of New England such a wealth of color, design and warmth. It’s more important now than ever before. Thank you.
