Students will learn the basic skills for use of the Oxford Punch Needle for rug making and other projects. A learners project of a framed simple design will be started. Students will learn equipment and materials required, needle use, simple stitch techniques. Methods to finish projects will be demonstrated. Many uses for a variety of projects will be reviewed including rugs, pillows, chair pads, and many more.
Materials
Fee: $20
The fee covers the frame with fabric backing and yarn for class project.
All supplies will be provided for class use.
Kits, frames, Oxford Punch needles, yarns and other supplies will be available for purchase as the completion of class.
