You've seen them, right? The big porch rockets, sad, with no seat? Learn the basics of weaving the New England Porch Weave on a stool. At the least, you will have a gorgeous natural material (reed) stool and a new skill. If you're adventurous, you can become a chairnerd and start saving sad chairs and restore them to their former glory!
Materials
Fee: $40
The fee covers the stool kit (needs assembly) and 7mm flat oval reed.
Students should bring scissors or clippers, water bucket, stapler and masking tape.
